Overflow 09'

Ahhhhh :) its that time of year again, where busy-ness of life seems to catch up so easily and we're left dry and in need of refreshing. maybe it's not the bustle and hectic schedules, but rather, an emptiness that you can really piece together. is there enough of God in your life? is the question you should be asking.

this year, we planned the retreat to be at Tiara Beach Resort, the venue for H.U.G.E camp 08- and going there for the recce trip brought back interesting memories, and how far everyone has gone since last year! its a beautiful place, and this season we expect tenancy to be low, so we'll have most of the place to ourselves??? sounds AWESOME!!

how is everyone in and away from KDC doing? i wonder, just as you're going through the rigors of life you don't make it an exercise, or worse still, find coming before God a chore. even as you guys and gals are not physically attending cell with us, i believe God's Overflowing can reach even you in Johor, Ipoh, East M'sia, Indonesia, Australia, and to the ends of the earth!! :p

For those who can make it, plz do- come and deliberately put yourself out of your daily setting. no work. no distractions. no ppl around to take away that time for you to seek God in a special way.

and in so doing, let God Overflow in your life.

Rick's B Day.

2 weeks ago at Cell we celebrated Rick's Bday. (I haven't been doing my job as a writer promptly.)

Rick just wanna say if you ever become Prime Minister, we're gonna bloody use this photo. "Vote Rick for change. Save Rick, Save the world". XD.

        As most of you might have heard, world economy aren't that great nowadays, and the work Sub prime, Great depression, Interest rate cuts, Bank Spread, Hedge Fund, *&^%$ and more rubbish jargon.

  

To help you better understand whats going on, you must learn the root cause which is The Sub prime Crisis (Click Here).

As the world economy heads toward Globalization. We can no longer ignore what is happening outside our country. As we might be driving a Japanese car, wearing a UK brand T-shirt that was made in China using cotton from a farm in Australia which was funded by a Swiss company listed in Wall Street (and the list goes on). The picture beside clearly illustrates how Global we're in right now. 

In short, US economy is failing and the world is being pulled into the blackhole, With lots of small business being forced into foreclosure, Big companies aren't spared as well. Believe me when i can no country is spared (and even China which as I'm drafting this post, has committed to spend 4Trillion RMB in the span of 2 years to boost domestic growth). 

Here, I hope that you can learn from what is happening around the world. This crisis have said to be on par or worst then the Great Depression back in the 1920s. This is indeed an incident that might not happen again in our lifetime and lets take this opportunity to learn and understand the mechanics behind our economy.

In conclusion, seeing how bad the economy is heading, dont expect me to spend you meals and no Xmas gift :P
